Our Board

Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God.  I always pray for you, and

I make my requests with a heart full of joy because you have been my partners in spreading

the Good News about Christ from the time you first heard it until now.   -- Philippians 1:3-5

  • Juliana C. McFadden | Founder & President

Juli received her Paralegal Certification from Roosevelt University in Chicago and is currently Vice President and Document Specialist at one of our country’s largest financial institutions, handling legal documents and due diligence for multi million-dollar lease transactions.  Juli has been married to her husband, David, for over 30 years and they have two daughters and four granddaughters.

So how did Juli become Founder & President of SISTER Ministries, Inc.? In Rick Warren’s book, The Purpose Driven Life, he tells us, “God wants you to have a Christ-like ministry on earth. That means other people are going to find healing in your wounds. Your greatest life message and your most effective ministry will come out of your deepest hurts. The things you’re most embarrassed about, most ashamed of, and most reluctant to share are the very tools God can use most powerfully to heal others.”  Follow this link to learn more about Juli's story  and the life message that God is using to most powerfully heal others.

Prior to that, Joanne worked extensively in the accounting and finance field, obtaining a B.S. degree from Arizona State University. Joanne shared with SISTER Ministries,  "even though I have many years of both education and work experience, my life was not centered in what was really important. It took a "time out" from God to help me get my priorities straight and comprehend that His word and His love is what is really important. My goal at SISTER is to ensure that all women feel and know His love for them and the power that it can have in their lives."

  • Jennifer Abril | Executive Assistant

Further to this Jennifer and her husband, Michael have taught at the SISTER Meeting biblical financial truths to the SISTER’s and have catered meals for various events. Jennifer is a graduate of Arizona State University and mother of Sedona Marie and Hazel Jane.

  • Cindy Watson | Director of Jail Ministries

Serving time in jail and prison on four different occasions from 1979 to 2008, Cindy needed a change. This change first began when Cindy prayed "Jesus change the desires of my heart and save me from myself".  and that He did.  God's word does not return void but accomplishes what He sent it do do. Isaiah 55:10-11  Cindy knowing this, told herself when she went to prison in 2004 that she was not going to prison, but instead she was going to Bible School.  This Christ-centered focus opened the door for Jesus to complete a mighty change in Cindy's heart.

This transformation continued once released from prison beginning with her 1st meeting at SISTER Ministries literally days after her release in March 2007. Cindy continued coming to SISTER the three years following her release and then God granted  Cindy her hearts desire, the ability to minister to women in the Arizona Maricopa County Jail.

Today Cindy continues to minister to women held at the county jail and serves on the SISTER Board as its Director of Jail Ministries. What a blessing is for us to have her serve on our board as one that has lived it all, and come out the other side! Cindy is also the mother of two, grandmother of seven and sole caregiver to her 90-year old mother. God is Good!
