For 20 years, SISTER Ministries has walked with women coming home from incarceration — one meeting, one SISTER, one new beginning at a time.

It starts with the foundation.

The green foundation symbolizes the foundation of Christ. A SISTER will CONNECT her life to the foundation of Christ when she accepts Jesus as Lord and Savior.

“I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.”
John 15:5 ESV

Then the roots grow down.

The blue tree trunk is a symbol of how the roots of her soul GROW down and sit upon a solid foundation built through obedience by following in believer’s baptism.

“Then Christ will make His home in your hearts as you trust in Him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.”
Ephesians 3:17 NLT

And her faith flourishes.

The green hearts are a symbol of each SISTER, and the blue swirls show how her faith will FLOURISH as she is discipled and builds relationships within the community of believers.
