Juliana C. McFadden
Founder & CEO
Juliana ("Juli") McFadden received her paralegal certification at Roosevelt University in Chicago and today serves as a vice president and document specialist with one of America's largest banks. She is also a writer, published author and speaker. Juli was married to her husband, David, for 37 years until his passing on July 11, 2021. Together they have two beautiful daughters and six granddaughters.
The journey that led Juli to establish SISTER Ministries, Inc., was a personal one. In The Purpose Driven Life, Rick Warren writes: "God wants you to have a Christ-like ministry on earth. That means other people are going to find healing in your wounds. Your greatest life message and your most effective ministry will come out of your deepest hurts."
Juli’s story is a powerful testament to that truth. Click here to read Juli’s story and discover how God is using her life message to bring healing and hope to others or you may purchase El Roi, The God Who Sees that includes Juli's story, "Traces of His Hand".

Jennifer Abril

Jennifer's walk with Jesus began in her early teens, when she accepted Him as her Savior and followed in believer's baptism . From those early years her faith became a meaningful and guiding part of her life even as she herself experienced the impact of incarceration of loved family members.
Over the years, Jennifer sensed the Lord leading her to serve others through several missions trips in Mexico. One of those opportunities included spending three months in Tijuana with Amor Ministries, where she served as a team director and helped lead church groups in building homes for Indigenous families in need. Through these experiences, Jennifer's deep love for Jesus and His Word has made her grateful for the opportunity to share that love with others.
Jennifer and her husband are blessed with three daughters. They also manage a historic family Mexican restaurant in Phoenix, where Jennifer serves in may roles, including restaurant management and accounting.

Kristen Norman
boutique curator
Kristen began attending SISTER Meetings in August 2024, since then she has attended meetings with remarkable faithfulness. As she grew more comfortable, she naturally began finding ways to serve--helping with cleanup after meetings, sharing about the ministry at Skelly House, and arranging Lyft rides for the women there so they could attend.
As Kristen continued to grow in both her love for God's Word and her heart for serving others, her commitment to the ministry has only deepened. That hear led her to step int the fole of Boutique Curator, where she meets on-on-one with members of SISTER and helps them receive items from the SISTER Boutique, manages inventory, and makes sure supplies are restocked when needed.
Kristen is also the proud mother of one daughter who is a recent ASU graduate.
