Juliana C. McFadden
Board President & Founder
Juli received her Paralegal Certification from Roosevelt University in Chicago and is currently Vice President and Document Specialist at one of our country’s largest financial institutions, handling legal documents and due diligence for multi million-dollar lease transactions. Juli was married to her husband David, for 37 years until David went home to Jesus on July 11, 2021. They they have two daughters and six granddaughters!
So how did Juli become Founder & President of SISTER Ministries, Inc.? In Rick Warren’s book, The Purpose Driven Life, he tells us, “God wants you to have a Christ-like ministry on earth. That means other people are going to find healing in your wounds. Your greatest life message and your most effective ministry will come out of your deepest hurts. The things you’re most embarrassed about, most ashamed of, and most reluctant to share are the very tools God can use most powerfully to heal others.” Follow this link to learn more about Juli's Story and the life message that God is using to most powerfully heal others.

Lisa has a passion for serving women. Part of her experience includes having worked at House of Refuge Sunnyslope, a homeless shelter and transitional housing program. As the Women’s Program Director, she was able to share the gospel and love on people in less fortunate circumstances. Lisa is mom to three beautiful daughters and is married to her best friend, Patrick. They attend Pure Heart Church in Phoenix.
Lisa comes to SISTER Ministries with a unique background that allows her to relate to the women in a personal way. Having served time herself, she truly understands the hardships surrounding women who have been incarcerated. Her heart is to show the ladies who attend SISTER that there is freedom in Jesus and that the best is yet to come.

Bible study teacher
Shereen has been the Bible Study Teacher at SISTER Ministries for more than eleven years. Shereen is the Author of Naked, Embarrassed and Exposed; Then Put Something On! This book is the tool God used to bring Shereen and Juli to connect and grow their friendship and the ministry. A copy of Shereen's book is also given to each new SISTER when she attends her 1st meeting. Shereen's love for Jesus and His Word Truth is delivered weekly to the women we serve in a way that is real, passionate and relatable. Shereen is also an avid diver and is passionate about all things "under the sea", so much so that when she shares with the SISTER's her adventures it enlightens the detail of God's hand in creating such a beautiful world in which we get to enjoy. Shereen is also the mother of two sons and a daughter and has nine grandchildren with another one on the way! Read Shereen's letter on how SISTER Ministries fulfills The Great Commission.
Ministry Leader Assistant
Anna began her journey with SISTER Ministries in the summer of 2007. Having first been served at SISTER now Anna is serving as the Ministry Leader Assistant. Anna has a keen eye for identifying what is needed from her years of experience attending SISTER. What does Anna specifically do? The list is long, but simply put, Anna serves in the gaps so that everything runs smoothly; from meeting clean-up, to driving women to meetings and home. Anna calls the women throughout the week to make a personal connection in between meetings and ministers to them at the meeting on a personal level to help them both with their spiritual and physical needs. Anna is a great resource manager and often helps the women connect to obtain needs from housing to employment. Anna is the mother of three girls and one boy (now a man and the only male allowed to attend SISTER Meetings - LOL) and grandmother of 13!
Lilly was the first woman God brought to SISTER Ministries. Lilly already knew Jesus as her Lord and Savior, but in part the organic discipleship offered by SISTER Ministries helped Lilly to learn to walk with Jesus in her daily life. The result, Lilly has grown in her faith and her life has been completely transformed. Lilly is a fashionista so serving the SISTERs in this way is a perfect fit where Lilly can pick current styles to stock the boutique and share her story of hope from her personal life experience. Lilly has one daughter and a son and is married to the love of her life, Mark. Lilly is also the office manager at a Phoenix auto auction house charged with supervising twelve employees.
SISTER Messenger Group - Devotional Leader
The SISTER Messenger Group started at the beginning of Covid-19 as a means to stay in touch with each other in a private group setting outside of our Zoom Meetings. At that time Christina on her own accord used the messenger group to post daily devotions Monday through Friday. With this additional level in which to minister to the SISTER's, these devotions serve to keep us knitted together daily in God's Word. Christina first joined SISTER Ministries in December 2018 on the same day of her release. Christina has always had a servant heart and has served in the ministry almost from day one - at first Christina served by baking for monthly birthday celebrations and prepared event meals for our weekly support meeting. Most recently, Christina was our mystery guest speaker at our 2021 Christmas kick-off. Christina is the mother of two daughters and newlywed to Henry. Christina is also a published writer for Victorious Living Magazine.
